Get ready for a week of fun and friendship in the city! This very unique workshop offers intensive social skills training to children ages 7-12. Designed by a speech language pathologist, this camp is perfect for children who need help communicating with peers to establish friendship connections, and to comprehend hidden social rules for interacting successfully through-out daily interactions. Each day will begin with a structured learning session to introduce specific social skills. Who would benefit from these workshops?
These workshops were created for bright, motivated children between the ages of 7-12 who would benefit from a structured approach to improving pragmatic language skills, awareness of others, and the ability to initiate and maintain peer relations. Many of our children have diagnoses of Asperger syndrome, non-verbal learning disorder, anxiety, and ADHD. However, it is not necessary to have a diagnosis to participate.
